On September 2-6, 2007 a five-day summer school on 
Density functional theory: formalism, implementation, and novel applications 
will be held.

The school will be held at the Ruth-Rimonim Hotel in the northern Israeli town of Zefat (Safed).

The school's aim is to provide a set of comprehensive tutorial overviews on the state-of-the-art in density functional theory. It will cover a broad range of subjects, including formal foundations, numerical issues, and applications to a broad range of current problems in chemistry, physics, and materials science.

There is no registration fee. Room and board for a reduced fee of $200 will be offered to the first 50 students/post-docs to enroll. Please register early to secure room and board.
